As parents of three boys, finding a school where each child feels supported, encouraged, and excited to learn has meant everything to our family. Saint Benedict Cathedral School welcomed us with open arms, and we immediately felt part of the school community. Our boys are thriving academically, socially, and emotionally thanks to the caring teachers and excellent resources. We also appreciate the strong faith foundation woven throughout the school experience. At school Mass, Father Alex does an incredible job relating his messages to everyday situations the students experience, helping them grow not only as learners, but as kind and thoughtful young people. We are so grateful to be part of such a positive and supportive school family.

The decision to send our children to St. Benedict Cathedral was easy. As a St. Benedict alumnus, I knew I wanted to give my children the same opportunity. St. Ben’s environment—both academic and religious—have far exceeded my expectations as a parent. The caring engaged staff are committed to providing the best education for our children and every other student. This commitment is not only to the academic development but also character and faith development. The curriculum and expectations set forth by St. Benedict Cathedral School and the Catholic Diocese will inevitably provide exceptional opportunities for our children’s future. In 2010, we were deciding where to send our oldest child to kindergarten. We toured schools and ultimately decided upon St. Ben’s for its academic excellence, small class sizes, and Christ-centered education. That decision changed our family more than we could imagine. We joined the Catholic Church in 2011 and have raised our four children in the Catholic faith. St. Ben’s school and parish have become an integral part of our family. The school prepared our children for their high school careers and helped them develop into kind, faith-filled individuals; the parish brought our family closer together and closer to God. Our family would not be what it is today without St. Ben’s and all the dedicated parish and school staff.
